For many of us, horses and carriage driving are an important part of our lives, for some it is our passion.
We recognize the role the American Driving Society has played nurturing our passion with opportunities for education, competition, and comradery and we want to see the ADS carry on its work beyond our lifetimes. A legacy gift, leaving a bequest in our will or trust or making the ADS a beneficiary of an investment or another account, is one way to honor our devotion to the sport and support the ADS in developing new drivers in the future.
The Legacy Circle program is designed to recognize these contributors and to allow us to thank them for their support of the ADS while they are still with us. To become a Legacy Circle member, you need to decide to leave a gift to the ADS in your will, and inform the ADS of the action you have taken with a letter. Your letter should let the office know that you have chosen to make a bequest to the ADS and may (but does not have to) state either the amount of the gift or the % of your remaining estate the ADS will be receiving.
Once your letter is received by the office you will be recognized as a Legacy Circle member on lists of ADS donors and you will also receive a special Legacy Circle Lapel pin. Won’t you join us in recognition of the impact carriage driving and the ADS have had on your life by becoming a Legacy Circle Member?
