ADS Judges and Technical Delegates (TD) are all trained and licensed by the ADS. Acceptance into the Learner program allows the official to shadow more experienced officials at recognized events, but is not a license that may be used to officiate. The first license a Judge or TD may use in an official capacity is "r". Officials may promote to "R" or "S" (S is only for Combined Driving officials) as they gain experience. "R" and "S" are the most advanced/senior licenses available.
