The ADS offers several championships and award programs that recognize the efforts of members both in competition and out.
The
ADS Calculated Championships is a program designed to recognize, encourage and inspire drivers in ADS Combined Driving Events in the Preliminary and Intermediate divisions. The program is designed to enable these drivers to measure themselves against others at the same level of proficiency, acknowledging that it is not practical for them to meet to compete head-to-head because of the size of the US and Canada.
The
ADS Centennial Club recognizes carriage drivers and their one equine partner whose combined ages total 100 years or more.
The
ADS North American Championships celebrate drivers in the Preliminary and Intermediate Divisions at an annually designated event that host the championships.
The
ADS Youth Championships are open to any drivers under the age of 21 and are awarded in three divisions: Pleasure Driving, Combined Driving, and Recreational Driving.
The
ADS Driven Dressage Awards recognize drivers who have four tests per level with a score of 48 penalty points or below, or 70% or above. Drivers earn Medals and pins for each of the four levels.
ADS Hours to Drive is a popular recognition program for drivers who log their hours on the box seat.
ADS continues the
Hours to Drive Regional Challenge for the ADS Regions across the US and Canada to compete for the most logged hours driving.
ADS Volunteer of the Year honors one member each year who is dedicated to driving through their volunteerism.
Join us as we honor our award winners each year at the ADS Annual Meeting Awards Gala!
